We all like talking. We all like quilting. We like patchwork, fabric and nosing around to see how a quilt was made, too. Come and indulge yourself and join us at the ‘Our Quilt Heritage’ stand. The British Quilt Study Group celebrates its 20th anniversary with this exhibition about British quilt history. You’ll be very welcome at stand TG12, between Halls 8 and 9.

This stunning example of a classic North Country quilt enables us to
compare and contrast the quilting patterns and styles with a red Welsh
quilt which we will also be exhibiting.
Come and discover more about quilt making and makers, fabrics, patterns, signatures and wholecloth. Learn to look for the back story.
The Festival of Quilts runs from 9 – 12 August 2018 at the NEC in Birmingham. Discounted Festival of Quilts entry tickets are available for members via their area of the Quilters’ Guild website, here. If you’d like to hear more about the Festival of Quilts, or purchase tickets, you can see full details of the event here.
